Compliance Summary Remarks:
Land owner contacted AOGC in March with complaint of losing cattle due to a production flow-line leak on the well pad. AOGC met land owner on location on March 24, 2021. Landowner related that in December of 2020 the buried production flow-line had leaked gas and a purple liquid substance bubbled up with the gas. He had cattle apparently get into the leak and had several die. As of the March 24th site visit the production flow-line leak had been repaired with a section of pipe left above ground so there was no leak when AOGC were present, so the AOGC did not see the purple substance bubbling up with the leak. An inspection of the well pad revealed that the produced fluids tank had about 2 feet of fluid present. There was a purple liquid substance present in the tank which resembled an emulsion of purple antifreeze mixed with compressor oil.
